RV Park/w Pull thru

It's hard to lose a friend, sorry you weren't able to get there in time. I would echo Lost Dutchman State Park. It is very nice. They were putting in new hook up sites when we were there 2 years ago.

Not only electric and water but there are full hookups sites, too. The restrooms/showers are very nice. I really think you'd enjoy the park. Sorry about your friend.

Sorry about your friend. It won't be a very pleasant trip for you. However, you could stay in pleasant surroundings.

I'd suggest Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction. They have some full hookups, pull-thrus and big sites in a gorgeous setting. Depending where you need to visit in Chandler/Gilbert it would probably only be a 20-30 minute drive via the 202 and time your visits to avoid rush hour. If your friend can use a wheelchair it would be an awesome place in nature for some peace and a short outing to visit at your place - don't know if that would be possible or not.

I do not trust Good Sam reviews; in spite of what they say, I think it is advertising money related.

Example.

Walked into register in a place a year ago and was greeted with, "Welcome to the only Good Sam 10-10-10 rated park in Colorado."

Although I wanted to say, "So?" I kept my mouth zipped.

Got to the gravel site which was far lower in the front than the back and required two blocks under the tires to level side to side. Go to hook up and I was lucky as my water and electric were close together; my neighbor's water was 2-3 feet off the ground over basically on my site nowhere near his electric. All sewer connections I that I saw were to the back of the site so unless you had a very long sewer hose - our 2 sections did not even come close - you could not hook up. So we used their restrooms which, incidentally, were very clean. Every day they pulled a drag around to smooth out the gravel roads - do I have to say DUST / DIRT!?

But it is a GS 10-10-10.

I use and recommend RV Park Reviews and this Forum.

RVParkReviews lists those that have pull thru's.

Have never stayed in the area. But if you check rvparkreviews.com there are 70+ RV parks in the area. You can check the ratings and the maps to find something with good ratings ratings and in an area convenient to your visit.

I am sure there will be some respond who have stayed in the area though.
