Santa Cruz California and stayed at one of the KOA RV Parks

Just thought I’d drop a line on our vacation last week

We went to Santa Cruz California and stayed at one of the KOA RV Parks. While there we went to the Boardwalk and the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Weather was so nice we decided to stay an extra day at the Seacliff State beach. We lucked out and they had a few stops left for RV’s. There was a lottery for the spots and won the last full hookup site. It was about 10 feet from the beach sand. On the way home we stopped off at the Casa De Fruita for some Apricot wine. Kids took rides on the train and Merry go round.

If any of you get to the Santa Cruz area of California, there is a lot to see and do.

Only hiccup was close to home the RV started shaking a lot.
Might have a bad tire so the RV is out of commission until I can sort it out.

  • Glad you had a good time. Monterey County has a number of number of nice RV CGs. No hooks but water and dumps available. Laguna Seca is well known. Veterans Park is nice too. The run from Santa Cruz to Big Basin SP (our first state park) on CA Hwy. 9 is a challenge but worth it to see the Redwoods.
