Doing an Oregon Coast California Redwoods trip this September.
Anybody have any comments about the Shoreline RV Park in Eureka for a centre point location to explore the Redwoods both south and north of Eureka.
If not Shoreline any other thoughts would be appreciated. Also any thoughts about a good Park in Crescent City area for a short stay to explore the Redwoods area around Jedidah Smith and area.
Your comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Agreeing with Korbe, I'd stay closer when viewing the Avenue of the Giants south of Eureka. Ancient Redwoods RV park in Redcrest was nice and Redcrest Resort looked nice. Both are on the "avenue." Ancient might be a little more big rig friendly

Must be kinda on the new side. That location used to be the parking lot for Disco department store years ago.
I would stay closer to each of the locations, myself. Unless you have a reason to stay in Eureka. RV parks in south Humboldt, and north is what I would do.
