St. George Island, FL

So for those of you who have stayed here...what site(s) would you recommend - we need something in the 38-40' range. We usually stay at St. Andrews SP and back-up to the water (sound) and love it. Are any of the sites at St. George Island waterfront?

Also, we take out jetski's with us and I love the boat access from St. Andrews...how is the boat launch at St. George Island?
Thanks!
  • you can put the jet skis in at the kayak launch area right down from the campground.

no sites on water but JUST a very short walk to the beach. we walked and drove our golf cart all the time. it is not a bother at all.

we were site 54. go to reserveamerica site and put in this park. then click on the site number and a picture and description comes up. easy to find the site that will suit you. we have a 40 ft toyhauler and a ton of those sites would easily fit us.

this place is great. you will have a blast.

we were there in July and not one mosquito :)
  • The sites are all similar. The RA reservation site gives max length for each site and none are on the water. To my knowledge I do not remember a boat launch but there may be one. I don't own a boat so never looked for it. One thing to be aware of is the ravenous mosquitos.
