Suggestions on campgrounds near Universal Orlando

42' 5er. 2 adults 1 kid. End of March visit.

Checked out Ft Wilderness and it's pretty expensive with no shuttle connections to Universal. Other campgrounds in the area with big enough sites are all about 1/2 hour away.

Recommendations?
  • The end of March will be crowded with the Spring Break crowd. I’d consider staying at one of the Universal Resorts for a night so you can get early admittance into the park. Expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

Read reviews on that park, looks tempting due to location, but most say the sites are quite small.
  • I’ve had my 40 DP in there several times. There are some short sites but also some good sized.

We stayed there with our 35' tt no problem. Loved it, and plan to stay there any time we visit orlando. Easy access to universal from there.

I've got reservations to stay there in February with my 42' fifth wheel. We'll find out how it is. :D

Call now, though- I had a hard time getting a week when I wanted it.
