- HappyKayakersExplorerIf it were me, I'd ask a Canadian. Oh....wait....
- Jack_Diane_FreeExplorerYes you can. Have done it many times. Obviously it is not native to Canada so no restrictions.
- cocos_cabanaExplorerBe sure they are in the original "made in USA" packaging or have stickers on them.

Correct. The rules pretty much state that you can bring in fruits and vegetables that aren't grown in Canada commercially. The limit appears to be 550 pounds per person! Just make sure you declare it if asked. - Francesca_KnowlExplorer

"Frozen Grapefruit" juice isn't from plants native to Canada?
:B - Community AlumniWe winter in the south, but through the summer months we cross border shop every week on our way home from NY state. We buy the lions share of our groceries in the US and have never had an issue with any products. The biggest thing is having to occasionally pay duty on something we did not expect to but never a large amount.
- pigman1ExplorerBeen told we couldn't bring apples in, but they never even asked about citrus.
- dcasonExplorerOdd, when we were going thru customs and returning home to NY, they specifically asked if we had citrus.

NY is a protected market because you grow citrus there. They don't want Canadian citrus flooding the NY market.
