Just means, there is a very nice CG ran by Tom Johnson at the foot of the mountain, on the river, just outside Marion NC. With a short 30 min ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Caverns, and Black Mountain.
As this is the Campgrounds, and attractions section. I figured it would go here.
