We arrived on the 13th and left on the 19th, due to the smoke from the Hoback fire. Here's a link to our blog post -- you can see from our photos that the aspens were not nearly as colorful when we were there, as compared with the aspens in your video:

Great post and photos! I particularly like the "American Gothic" shot. ;)
And I continued on to your Crested Butte post to discover that we were camped in the exact same site this summer!

I also had to laugh at your 50-tent tale. As can be seen in the videos, we parked our rig right next to the tree trunk laying across the site. At one point my dogs started barking, and I looked over to see a guy in a Subaru parked right where your moose walked out of the shrubbery. I threw on some shoes and walked over to his car right as he explained to his son, "I'm looking for a flat spot to pitch our tent."
This was perhaps only 30 feet from my trailer, so my greeting was curt, cold and to the point: "Not here you're not."
He got all indignant on me as I explained that he was in my campsite, mine for up to 14 days, and he had plenty of other spots to look for a tent site that weren't right on top of someone else. I explained that this was simple dispersed camping ethics, not to mention simple common sense. He got back in his car and drove off without saying another word. It's amazing how many folks just don't get it. I just can't understand why he thought that pitching right in someone else's site was going to be enjoyable for him, either. Had he persisted, I would've found some death metal online and fired up the outdoor speakers to enhance his experience. :B
Finally, when Episode 75 comes out in a few weeks you'll see that you should've stopped at Flaming Gorge. ;)
