Is there a place in Arkansas with scenery, and cool nights? Looking for a place within reasonable distance from the Dallas area that might be a good spot for a "beat the heat" weekend getaway...

We spent a week in north and central Arkansas last summer and there was little difference in the heat there and the heat in Kansas City. Petit Jean SP is beautiful with a nice, pine tree shaded CG I'd recommend. We also stayed at Devil's Den SP but while shaded, it was miserably hot and the CG was pretty run down for my liking.
