Heard that Blacks in Lockhart is great for Texas Bar-B-Que. what are other great spots for snowbirds to check out? Have to also checkout Tex-Mex? want to find as many great spots as we can.

Rudy's BBQ near San Antonio. They advertise themselves as "world's worst bbq". A must is BlueBell Ice Cream plant in Brenham, near College Station. If you can't make it to the plant, most any self respecting grocery store in Texas will have it. Try it, you'll never brag on Ben & Jerry's again.
