Call the park directly and explain that you are stay with a group. Be polite, if you start talking about your "RIGHTS" you have lost the argument. Point out your reservation is for a specific site and that's the one you would like to have.
It's up to the parks policy. What were the terms? If nothing is in writing, and signed by management, you probably have little recourse. Pushing the issue, or having an attorney send a letter, might have you looking for other accomodations in Short order.
Are you prepared to come from another state and go into litigation with a local business over a campsite?
