What happened to my thread?

I asked a benign question about some oddball receiver shanks in the tow vehicles section, because there is no longer a straight-up towing section anymore and I could not see any other place where it would be more appropriate. There is no sign of the thread in my history or a search, no message from the admin to let me know it had been removed for some violation of the rules.

It just went "poof."

I am not sure who or why your post was Archived, but it was a mistake, and it shouldn't have been. I just moved it back to its original place. Sorry about the confusion.
