What i am doing now is turning off my converter inside the RV so the battery charger is off and plugging the trailer into my small inverter which is sitting outside all the time. Plugging the trailer into the inverter this way lets me use every plug in the trailer when I need to.
What I am trying to avoid is having my new inverter sit outside all the time. Would like to install it inside the front compartment.
I guess it is as simple as drilling a hole in the compartment to the outside and running wires to the 30 amp receptacle and mounting the receptacle on the A frame but was looking for a bit cleaner look if someone has done something like this already.
