Change to All Electric

We are planing to turn our TT..06 Keystone Hornet 28 BHDS into a "Park Model"..Mom hates the LP..!! The oven has never been used..only use the microwave and the stove top. We are replacing the over/stove top with a Summit 120volt 2 burner electric cooktop, and the water heater with Ariston 7 gal 120volt point of use hot water heater.(will fit right in the space built for the LP unit. I have several ideas about heaters but have not decided on which one as of yet. Going to Park It on 10 acre.
Any thing that I need to know before changing all this??
Any advise will be helpful.
Thanks.David.
  • Hi,

I'd look at induction cook tops. Or individual burners.

Is the RV a 50 amp service?
  • if you are going for a park model, look into a converter that can be run without a battery. Lights aren't much good without heat.
  • goingnowhere, you're gonna need to make sure that the trailer wiring and breakers match the loads. Don't burn it down.

Not necessarily plug and play I'd guess.

    Cheers
  • since your going to electric everything look into electirc baseboard heaters..put yourself a sub panel in to wire them to so as not overload the factory wiring
