Latest diodes from Cree ... rated at 200lm at only one watt input and they go up to ten watts and there are three of them on one 20mm circuit board

Few problems I see with that Octane product...

#1 There's no such thing as an HID LED ... High Intensity Discharge is a gas / arc discharge technology and has nothing to do with light emitting diodes

#2 Another post for the same product (Octane) claims 50,000 hour lifetime. Cree makes no such claim for their white led products.

#3 There is hardly enough heatsink to adequately deal with the heat from 45 watts of LEDs - either the wattage is wrong or the product will be short lived. Wattage was specified in the more detailed Octane post.

BTW Check out DHGATE.com for a better price.
