With her difficulty climbing stairs, it made it far easier to enter and exit. - Tango__AE7UIExplorerI installed the Torklift handrail this weekend.,
Very easy and simple to install. - Tango__AE7UIExplorerI picked up the Torklift Handrail today I'll install it this weekend.
- Tango__AE7UIExplorerBarneyS,
Thanks for the link to the step.
My wife has difficulty climbing in and out of our fifth, even with the fold away handle.
This looks like it will really help her. - BarneySExplorer IIICheck out this handrail.
Barney - TakingThe5thExplorerSounds like you are looking for handrails. If so, it would have to fold down for traveling, like your grab bar.
I wanted to mount a second grab bar on my old Cougar but there was no suitable support for it, however my new Cougar has a hydraulic door "closer" which keeps the open door at 90 degrees, which eliminates the need for a second grab bar. Maybe you could retrofit something similar.
Hope that helps.
