TT almost ready to hit I-95 to I-26 West

I would think the skin would offer a tad bit of structural integrity.
I don't see a break-a-way switch. Trailer brakes are a good thing. Route 26 is hilly, but it's the side roads that get really twisty and/or hilly (and that's why we were there two weeks ago, pulling a 6x12 single-axle with brakes, full of motorcycles). You're from near there, so I bet you're familiar.
Stay away from Mama Gertie's Hideaway campground. It's one big hill - and steep, with construction goin' on. We had a wonderful experience on the other side of Asheville. Fort Tatham RV Park doesn't have campground-wide wi-fi (only at the office/bath house/laundry room), but the setting is nice, it's in the middle of great roads and the price is very reasonable for full hook-ups (PPA). Small, but very clean pool, too.
Check out Wheels Through Time Museum, in Maggie Valley. It far surpassed my expectations and it was worth the dough. Go on a rainy day, because you'll feel guilty for being inside so long on a nice day. I saw a circa 1909 motorcycle, un-restored, not just started, but ridden. Where else are you gonna hear that? Pop Pop Pop! The 30's Ford V-8 dirt tracker Dale fired up has a sound you don't hear every day. It's a living, moving, sensory over-load. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone there seems to love talking about the various pieces of motor history.

Interstate 26, and interstate 95. 2 lane roads?????

I hope you have the weight distribution calculated and proven for the hill route you are taking. That and the power for pulling and stopping as this is a busy route mostly two lanes. Remember too this Fall the chances of snow early is there. I don't see any diagonals, that would strengthen the dynamics of roadway travel. Perhaps cables would do that at this late stage.
