  • He used that line on you so that you would not sneak out night when you were a teen. I used to push the car down the drive and half way down the block before I fired it up and push it home the same way. No wonder I was in such good shape...
  • "There's no sense in pushing a bike if it has a working engine in it"

    I like that!
  • My old 5th wheel did not have a beaver tail and the ramp was pretty dang steep, almost as steep as a pick up truck and normal length ramp kind of steep. The only good thing was that the ramp had a very rough, very grippy truck roll-in bedliner type that had a ton of grip.

I still rode my bikes in. To use the line my Dad always said "There's no sense in pushing a bike if it has a working engine in it"
  • I have a couple bikes....Suzuki V Strom, Honda VFR, Moto Guzzi.....a running start scared the c..p out of me as the floor in the trailer is slippery as ice! More concerned about the bike crashing and damaging the trailer. Now, no issues. I can push the bikes into the trailer without even starting them.
  • What kind of a motorcycle do you haul?

I had a bumper pull toy hauler back in the day, and it was much higher off the ground than yours.
I hated loading my bike. I'd do a running start, or ride it up. My DR350SE was a PIG.
