Going to look at a 31' FW bunkhouse tomorrow. I don't know the exact model for sure but pictures look pretty good, and it supposedly has new carpet/linoleum plus upholstery.

It has a queen up front with triple bunk at the back. Two entry doors, rear bathroom, 13' slide with a mid-section kitchen/living setup. We'll see how it looks tomorrow but for the vintage and asking price it appears to be in good shape, and the guy claims everything works. He's asking $9k, which is definitely the lowest I've seen for a FW that looks this good. I had actually resigned myself to up my budget up to more like $15-20k but then this popped up on Craigslist today.

Any feedback on this manufacturer or vintage or other tips would be appreciated. I'll definitely verify things work and will be crawling under and all around this thing before I decide to buy it.

We've owned Fleetwood
They were inconsistent in construction, varying from good to crapy.
But at that age, who maintained it, and how well, is more important then that Fleetwood made it.
I once saw a 20 year old Fleetwood that looked like it had just been delivered from the factory, because the owner(s) took care of it.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.
