just picked up a used 07
snapped the sheer pin on the slide same day on the retraction in.. but replaced it...this seems to be a common issue ?
is there an emergency hookup for your drill? a chuck that fits in there after u remove slide motor?
also I need to buy the emergency crank handle for the landing gear...were can I purchase this?
thanks in advance

Nice to hear a good attitude. As a fellow AF owner if you don't know about the AF users group it can be found at www.nroa2003.com

  • talked to Arctic Fox today...seems it was a big issue..they have a fix it kit there sending me..$150...hope it works
  • This is the first time I have herd of that happening, saying that. I do not think this is a common thing. On the slide motor you can put a wrench and bring in the slide. I don't think there is a crank handle for that just the landing legs. If it happens again you might have a issue
  • Never snapped our 2012 nor our 1999 24-5N.
I don't know if my 2012 uses the same slide mech as the 2007, but it's the same as the 99. For those you release the motor from the mechanism and advance the slide in/out with a wrench.

The landing gear on ours are standard Lippert type and just about any RV parts place should be able to get one.
