Only sounds expensive until you price out what the replacement cost is on the OEM Furrion parts that most RV manufacturers use, that are garbage. Furrion is a partner of Lippert...Imagine that.
On a side note the first thing I would do is pull the wall connector loose and check the wiring on a new trailer. On our 17 Rockwood those connections were loose and arcing. Found it 3 days after the purchase. On the other end at the AC breakers those connections were so tight the heads of the lugs were stripped out, and the copper conductors were smashed to the point if you moved then they snapped off. Had to replace every breaker.
