6-7- 8 k axel ratio?

Question what is the difference between the 6 k axel ratio and the 7 k and lastly the 8 k ratio in the landmark rv. ? I know it is a simple question (hopefully) but I am curious what the difference is thanks

Probably bigger brakes. True when we bought the new 35 ft 2001 alpenlite.

Which doesn't necessarily mean that the axles can't be near, or over, their weight rating. Some companies will install as lightweight axles as they can get away with.

8k is a larger diameter tube - 3.5 vs 3.0 inches diameter.

Trailer axles do not have 'ratios'

They have 'weight ratings'
