adding 2nd ac with seperate power plug

Question

My ac went out on my WW fs3000, I am replacing my 13500 btu with a 15000 btu, I go to AZ a lot (the river)and in 105-120 degree weather have used a 2nd portable 8000btu to keep things cool. My trailer has a 30 amp service and is wired for a second ac but it would be pushing it I never dry camp in that weather. So here is my Idea, add a second AC and wire it to its own breaker service and plug. Anyone done this? I've melted 2 30 amp plugs in the past running the 2 a/c's I've been using, this way I can plug in the 30 amp plug and then plug in the second ac into the 50 amp using an adapter or vise versa.

That is how I'd do it; separate plug/cord.

That is what I do with my stick on tank heaters. Just use a splitter for the heater pads and hose tape, and ran a 15A cord to the pedestal.

For you, 50 to 30 on the main, then 30 or 15/20 dedicated for the 2nd A/C unit.

I did this on my last fifth wheel but my intention was to use the separate 20 amp GFI receptacle usually available on the RV post. I stopped going to the 30amp parks and never used it. My coach was 50 amp.
