Advice for Good Small 5th Wheel

Question

Bought my Ram 2500 6.4 long bed this past month and am searching for a good 25-26 foot  fifth wheel. Trying to keep it small because there will be times I go off the beaten path. WOuld like to find one 1-2 years old (if I get lucky). I have had a Class C and a travel trailer and now would like to try this out due to the numerous posts about room, ease of hitching/towing...etc. Any recommendations for a brand that would be reliable for a decade or so? Thanks in advance.

Look at Northwood products.  Their Arctic Fox is a great product with an in house built frame that is much stronger than it's competition.

Our specific unit is a bit old for what you're looking for but we think this size is just perfect for the camping we do. And the Crossroads Cruiser is a fine unit.

We have a Fox Mountain 235RLS at 27'11". Very sturdy with a certified off road chassis. Being in Ohio it may be tough to find a Northwood for sale, used or new. They are a smaller company mainly on the west coast.

We had a 25' Sportsmen 5er as our first trailer and really loved it. It was 6000 lb. unloaded, 7200 GVWR. Had it for 4 years with NO problems.
