If it's still under warranty I recommend asking the dealer to see if the slide can be adjusted to accommodate the problem. OTOH, I've seen a few slides that never seems to be adjusted just right, and I have one out of three on my signature FW that is problematic. Without examining the whole slide, how it operates, the adjustments,and how it's dragging, it's difficult to make a recommendation. Another poster once mentioned he used a piece of (I think)polyurethane strip, 1/4" thick, 3" wide, and as long as the travel portion on the carpet, so the low bed edge could easily slide over the carpet. You can probably get it at a good hardware store or marine supplier. King Starboard (marine) would work but it's very expensive.
