I wonder if the State Park would be ok with motorcycles. I didnt see anything on their website about specifically not allowed. Dont ask, Dont tell. Easier to ask for forgiveness then ask permission. All that kinda stuff.
I had my dual sport with me in a Forest Service campground in Big Bear. Got all suited up and headed out for a ride. Ranger jumped out of the kiosk at the gate ready to ticket me for riding an OHV in camp. I pointed to my plate and she was very nice, "have a nice ride" she said! I've had rangers and camp hosts get on me about my "dirt bike" not allowed. I politely tell them that it is a street legal motorcycle that just happens to have knobbies and they usually back off. But you have to be polite and not be joy riding around camp; ride out, hit the trails, ride back in.
