Maybe, my bike is a registered motor vehicle with no after market modifications. I don't want to leave it unattended out from of a campground nor do I ride it around like a bicycle in the campground.
If I do go to myrtle beach I will be selective if I do choose to bring it, but I always ask campgrounds prior to making a reservation if I am bringing the bike along.
Honestly I don't blame you. IF I had a bike, I would not like to leave it at the gate either. I was just stating the rules they have. As I mentioned. Apache could be the only private MB CG that may let you have your bike inside.
As for the state park. I crossed that off my list a long time ago. I like to be right on the beach, and the campsites at the state park are a good long walk to the beach, and most do not have full hookups. While I don't need full hookups in the mountains. they are a requirement for me at the beach.
