Can I tow a small 5th wheel with my 1/2 ton truck?

I am thinking of trading in my TT for a 5th wheel.... I have a Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7L V8 with towing package. The specs show that I should be able to tow 7300 lbs.

Do you see any problems with towing a 6300-6500 Lb. 5th wheel?

    Do you have at least 1400# of actual available payload?
    That's the amount of weight you can still put on rear axle/rear tires AFTER you have loaded up the truck ready to go camping.

    Got the room for the pin weight (payload) then YES

    Guess......probably/more than likely
