can not draw propane from street side tank
I got this unit last Summer and had no issues with it, until now. I dewinterized the unit and decided to have both tanks filled. The curb side tank was empty, but the street side seemed awfully heavy. On filling the dealer said one was empty and the other was full. I took them back and connected them. I purged the air and then fired the furnace. All worked. Then I decided to shut off the curb side tank and draw off the street side, only. Furnace shut down. Checked the street side tank to make sure it was on and checked the crossover valve..it was red. I tried to purge again but could only get a small flame on one stove burner. I then manually switched the valve to the street side tank and it momentarily turned green, then back to red. Turned the curb side tank on and it turned green. All appliances now work. There appears to be an additional regulator on the street side tank and am wondering what purpose it serves and if it could possibly be plugged up or just non functioning. I am familiar with multiple tanks on all my other trailers but this is my first fiver. No where in my owners packet does it even make mention of this additional device. This trailer is new to me but we purchased it preowned from a dealer who took in trade because the original purchaser decided they wanted something different after their first trip. Any ideas??
