Cleaning the awning

Sounds like you just cleaned the awning??

Outdoor bleach works wonders cleaning the awning. spray the awning to wet it spray with bleach brush and hose off. looks like new

How to clean awning:
Lowes: One gallon pump sprayer of Tilex mold and mildew cleaner

Extend awning completely.

Spray 2-3 beginning at the roller edge on top and underside of awning, roll up to where you have sprayed

Continue to spray next 3 feet or so, roll up that much more

Finish spraying roll up awning completely

Wait 20 to 30 min.

Unroll, brush lightly on underside

Rinse thoroughly.

Results: Clean, bright awning

Nah-uh! Use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

I've tried many different products and methods but this is the one that works. No hard work or scrubbing. The spots and stains just vanish.

How do you get it to spray on?

Much rather do the spray/roll up/drink a beverage/unroll & rinse method

there's 2 things that I can't wait until my boy is old enough to do.....mow the grass and clean the awning.

Same here...sprayer with bleach and Dawn dish soap....spray on underneath...roll up for about 20-30 minutes....unroll and rinse off.

This is what Dometic recommends in the manual:
Mildew does not form on the fabric itself, but on the accumulated dust, dirt and grime. Periodically clean vinyl or woven acrylic fabric using a mixture of 1/4 cup of dish soap and 1/4 cup of bleach mixed with 5 gallons of warm water. Liberally slosh the mixture on the top of the fabric and roll the awning up for 5 minutes. This will apply the mixture to the bottom as well. Roll it back out and hose off with fresh water. Repeat if necessary.

Works great!
