- Cummins12V98Explorer IIIAt least PullRite has a reasonable 20K rating for their hitch unlike Andersen's over inflated numbers. Looks like a good hitch for the under 20K RV. Hard to tell can you lock the RV to the hitch?
Above, JMHO - is_it_friday_yeExplorerThat's pretty sharp. I would definitely consider that if I didn't need a slider. I need a new hitch soon and it will most likely be a Pullrite Superglide.
- kakampersExplorerAfter owning several different Pullrite hitches...I would definitely trust anything they made! Great hitches...great company!
- timfloodExplorerLooks good to me, I have the Andersen and Love it. For the people that has never used a Andersen how can you say anything about it. The new Pullrite looks very good. I like he way it comes down and the ball is on the trailer. If it as out when I got my Andersen I would had to have took a good look at it. I have a B&W ball in the bed and no rails. Looks good
- N-TroubleExplorerFigured it was a matter of time before someone else jumped on board. Andersen has been selling a lot of these, and I suspect they have been eating into the traditional 5er hitch market. If you can't beat em, join em as they say.

I haven't seen anyone discuss the Pullrite verision of the Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel connection.

Has anyone seen a price? Neither Amazon nor EBay has them listed. - Searching_UtExplorerI'm glad to see more options for ball mounts. Once you use one you tend to really like them.
As for this design, I don't like that it's a rail mount. Looks more time consuming and troubleshooting to hook up than the Andersen ball mount. It looks like it might allow a little more mismatch when hooking up though.
I'm not sure how this would work when you drop your trailer off at the dealers. With the Andersen type hitch the same forklift setup they use for trailers works for moving the fiver. The kingpin mount might have to come off this setup for them to move it about.
Weight rating is the same as the Andersen Ultimate rail mount at 20k.
All in all these light ball style hitches are fantastic both in how smooth and slop free they tow, and easy it is to remove and reinstall by one person, easily done even at the campsite. - TakingThe5thExplorerI wonder if there is any chucking with this hitch and, if so, how would you stop it?
- grampscamperExplorerIt looks like a well designed hitch.
- Sport45Explorer III wonder why they call for a pull test after hitching? Do they think the owner isn't going to notice the ball isn't in the coupler?
Otherwise, it looks like an upside-down Andersen with bent and welded steel in place of the solid aluminum block.
