CONVERTER LOCATION

where IS THE CONVERTER LOCATED in my Attitude 5th wheel trailer. It is a 2014 29 feet long toy hauler. Frig is on internal wall. Where on the internet might I look for the electrical system schematic for it? There is no fan noise/grate either.

    X2
  • No telling where it is, logic does not play into the equation. For example: on our Newmar the land electric connects at the left rear and the batteries are in a drawer in the back bumper. So guess where the converter is … far RIGHT FRONT corner! Go figure.
  • On Titaniums they are behind the rear wall of the basement, accessible through a panel held on with Velcro tabs. Just to the Passenger's Side of center. The Water pump and brake hydraulic pump are behind the panel closest to the outside wall.

From what I have seem inside a typical construction, there probably isn't a written schematic per se. They throw these things together willy nilly and no two are exactly alike.

If there were a standard schematic, why would they hand write the circuit labels on the breaker panel?
  • not a direct answer.. on my alpine, next to the fuse panel, there is a blank cabinet panel. remove the 2 screws and the panel comes off and the converter is mounted to the floor. No interior vent.

    It is proprietary information.
As far as I can tell, you are left to figure it out on your own, and it appears they are not all done the same. Even within a given year and model, they apparently change things.
I agree the converter should be right near the fuse/breaker panel.
    Good luck with the schematic.
