cost of replacing rubber roof on 35 foot fiver?

As a few have mentioned..... FlexArmor. It’s not cheap....but pretty darn near “bullet-proof”! If you plan on keeping the RV, it is an option. We had ours done in August down in Mesa,Az. ( ARPRV). Great folks to work with. When the job is complete, there is nothing perforating the roof. All brackets, bases, etc. are put onto roof prior to the spraying of roof material. If you get a leak... it likely “did not” get in through the roof. There are some videos on the net showing the FlexArmor system being applied!

Had mine done(insurance) a while back, $12,000. Good job by local dealer.

I agree about not using camping world. They are only interested in how much money they can get from you.
We had a tear in our rubber roof, and the dealer said that the roof had to be replaced. Insurance paid for it . . . . cost $3000, but I think the factory did a favor for us (Forest River).
Since then, we had another tree rub, and a tore rubber roof. I just gotsome of that rubber roof tape and fixed it my self. You have to get up there to do it your self. And the tape works great!! stays on, does not peal off.
I recommend that you do it yourself.
I would not have a replacement pain job done on the roof.
They are very heavy, and no better than doing it yourself.
Whatever, do not listen to camping world. We had break problems, and we had camping world fix it. They charged us $250 and did not fix the problem.

I'm glad you found a better place for your repairs.

Just had to let everyone know they were right about camping world. After getting approval from insurance asked the service tech when they would be able start on my roof because they had already told me my roof was in. He informed me that they had put my roof on another camper, but he was expecting another roof possibly that afternoon because CW stocks roofs. Ten days later i am still waiting on roof, to say the least was upset. The tech said he didn't understand my attitude which really set me off. i told him to have my camper brought around because i wouldn't deal with someone who thought my attitude was out of line for what was happening to my camper and I. will be picking camper up friday from open road and i watched the progress on the install and they are doing a great job.

This time of year. I would repair tear, and then redo membrane in Summer. I am finishing my complete redo of the roof, and can help walk you through the process. I hired two roofing "Pros" to fix, and they screwed everything-up. I had to redo all work myself. You can do this project better, and cheaper than any "Pro".

RV Flex Armor (www.rvroof.com) is sprayed on in a controlled inside environment. It is NOT the RV Armor product which is painted on. Different product, different process.

Here was what my roof looked like just before I hooked up and left the install facility. It looks just like that now.

It is tough as nails, one piece (no more seams to caulk), whiter than white, and has a life time guarantee. More over, the cost was about the same as a new rubber roof. In my opinion, the Dow Chemicals poly urea coating, is a big improvement over the rubber roof. The down side is the fact that they have a very limited number of installing dealers, so you may have to travel a ways to get it done. It can only be applied indoors and may take up to 3 days to complete so add the cost of a motel to the price. If you decide to go that way you won't be disappointed in your forever roof.
