Customer satisfaction with Keystone Sprinter?

My wife and I currently own a 2004 Keystone Sprinter 282FWRLS and have been very pleased with it after all these years. We needed to upgrade to a bunkhouse due to our two little ones (now 5 1/2 and 7) out growing their current beds. We just bought a 2015 Keystone Sprinter Copper Canyon 324FWBHS. We will be taking delivery in about a week, after the dealer finsihes installing a Splendide 2100XC vented washer/dryer combo in the utility room. Just looking for some feedback from anyone who owns the same trailer and or W/D.

    For what it is worth I have had 4 sprinters and had wonderful success with all of them, for the money you just can't beat them. Last year went on a 4500 mile trip and the 5er is 7 years old. Happy camping

    Julie and I were looking at the new sprinter wide body series this past fall. Due to life experiences we decided to put a hold on the purchase. It turned out to be a good decision because we have only been able to go camping twice this year.

    We really like the 296FWPLS floorplan. I had several concerns and one of them put a temporary stop to our purchase. I was concerned about the thin flimsy doors used for the propane compartments and the 15 inch wheels that came on the trailer without the option to factory upgrade. We stopped looking because I wanted a gray water tank with larger capacity. Something like 70+ gallons instead of the 40 it came with at the time. We were told they would start making them with larger capacity this year. I have not checked back to see if it actually happened.

    Unfortunately I cannot offer any first hand experince but I feel they are a good choice for the price point. Please provide feedback once you receive the trailer and have time to use it once or twice.

    Sorry for the late reply, I haven't logged in for several months. Our 324 is great. I've made a few changes as I saw fit. The first was removing the existing TV mount for the main TV and replacing it with a MOR/ryde mount. The new mount locks and unlocks with a spring loaded pin. Also, it pulls away from the wall easily and pivots toward the couch for better viewing. It also extends further than the original mount. I had the dealer install a TV mount in the bunkhouse. I transferred the main TV to the bunkhouse and installed a larger one in the main room. I also removed the living area couch and replaced it with two recliners. We had the dealer install a Splendide washer/dryer combo in the utility room. I added baskets, with quick releases on the shelves, to hold products and supplies. Outside the trailer, I installed screens on all of the vents to keep bugs from building nests. I'm currently in the process of building a kitchen counter extension. I found we needed more counter top coming off of the end near the sink.

    How are you enjoying your new 324?

    We have discussed removing the couch and replacing w/recliners. That will probably happen! Talked about the counter extension too, maybe you can post some pics when yours is done?

    I have a 2015 324FWBHS. It was nearly perfect for us (my wife and I, a 3 year old, and a ~30 lb dog). We bought it last summer and took it to Disney for a week and lived in it for a month after we sold our house.

    The only issues I have with it are 1) no sound from included TV when on cable (dvd player is on surround sound). I put another TV in until I can get it fixed under warranty. 2) On the door for the propane compartment, the bottom latch doesn't work right and I had to wire it shut on the way to Florida.

    The 326FWBHS intrigues me with its full size refrigerator, but you lose the pantry cabinet and some counter space, so I would probably stick with what I got.

    I wish it had a tub rather than shower for our 3 year old. I would recommend 2nd ac if you plan on camping in the south in the summer. Our one 15k worked fine in October in Florida and Ohio in July.

    Placing a thin rubber mat cut to the shape of the shower drain will allow you to create a 3 inch deep bath tub for your little one. Before you know it they will outgrow the need for a bath and having the shower will be nice. We did that for our little ones and it worked out really well.

    I wish it had a tub rather than shower for our 3 year old. I would recommend 2nd ac if you plan on camping in the south in the summer. Our one 15k worked fine in October in Florida and Ohio in July.

    I will post some pics in the next few weeks of some of the improvements and modifications I've done to our 324. Our unit has the second a/c installed in the bedroom. I will say it works extremely well to cool down the master bedroom.
    I'm also working on improving the master bedroom closet. Hanging clothes from the bar wasn't well thought out by someone in that dept. There isn't enough depth to allow the closet doors to open and close without hitting the coat hangers that jut out about 3 inches beyond the closet doors. FYI, the TV mount above the fireplace has 6 screws holding the bracket onto the wall. 2 center screws, 1 on top and 1 on the bottom, aren't fastened into a solid surface. I discovered that when I removed the bracket and installed the new MORryde TV mount.

    For the master closet, it looks like you can move the rod back some so clothes fit right. I didn't try it yet, but looked like it would work to move back a few inches.
