Fifth wheel toilets

We bought a new fifth wheel. The toilet in our old fifth wheel was easy to flush. The toilet in our new fifth wheel is hard to flush. You have to press half way to fill the tank but it is hard to find the right "half way" spot. We want to buy a different toilet that is easier to flush and fill. Any suggestions? Thanks and safe camping!

    X2...

  • I liked the one in our previous Big Sky: it had two levers, one filled the bowl and the other opened the valve.
  • Our last 5ver had the raise the handle to fill.....our newer 5ver is the same as you have....partway down to fill. Never had a problem with it yet....fills just fine.
  • bet it's a dometic --- give them a call...

the 'halfway' point is 1/250th of an inch wide on my original one...
they sent me a new one since that valve is not adjustable...

my wife has gotten to the frustration point that she fills a pitcher and pours it into the bowl to get water in there without flushing :)

My last RV toilet was as you describe.

However, my current RV's toilet works like, and is as irritating as the original poster describes. I can't recall offhand the brand I currently have.
