We've had a Columbus 320RS for since February and have put about 8500 miles on it and have had very few problems. The biggest issue we had was the bearings were over greased causing the seals to blow out, but that was a Lippert issue. There is a very active Columbus Group on Facebook if you're on FB. In general, it seems most issues people are having with them are components (noisy AC, refrigerator, etc). The drawers are dovetailed, but still not residential quality. The pluses for us with the Columbus line is the standard features it comes with...30x60 shower, tank warmers, 100" wide, frameless windows, 40,000 BTU furnace, LED lighting, fireplace, ceiling fan,and cherry cabinetry to name a few. The price point is a good $10k less than comparable models. I know the Jayco comes with a factory 2 year warranty, but the Columbus has a 2nd year warranty available thru Forest River for a token $150. The one model that there does seem to be consistent problems with is the bunkhouse model 385BH. All in all, I don't think Columbus has issues any different than any other manufacturer as they all use pretty much the same components. With units that have had more major issues Columbus has stepped up and returned them to the factory for repair. Feel free to PM me is you have more questions.
