Fixed rear bunk in weekend worrior

Help needed. We are trying to sell our 2003, 30ft WW. It has the fixed rear bunk and it needs to be removed. Most everyone is now driving rhino's and razors and they just won't fit. I found this topic covered in a 2014-2015 post but cannot find it again. Anybody know the easiest and least messy way to accomplish this? Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Is yours on straps or gas struts, I know WW switched at some time. If the gas struts I'd just disconnect at the wall brackets and leave them in place. But that shouldn't stop someone from buying it if its the trailer they want, they can remove it just as easy as you.
  • Thank you for your replies. No, there are no straps or struts. It is attached to the walls with cabinets like the front bunk. We have not had 1 call that is not side by sides or sand rails. I wish I could find that post from years ago. It referred to Mark from WW and advice on the best way to remove it with phone # and email.
    Thanks again.
  • I've never seen/heard of a Warrior with a rear solid mounted bed.
My 2004 Warrior had a rear bunk on struts.
My buddies 2002 Warrior had a rear bunk on struts.

Sounds to me like it was modified by someone, not how it came from the factory.

A rear bunk that won't let toys in, kind of defeats the purpose of a toy hauler.
