Fresh Water Tank Drain

Very, very basic plumbing.

That's the way my 3 previous travel trailers have been. On my last one, I removed the end camps and attached a PVC washing machine hose hook up. They are plumbed at 1/2 inch and fit the threads perfect. At least releasing the water was a bit easier.

I don't mind crawling under to remove drain cap, but usually roll under with a creeper. Most times when draining, I'm at home, so creeper is handy, and also have a 2.5 gal pail with holes in lower sides, to keep water from splattering when I remove the cap. My current FW drains quickly, due to hose location and size.

If an older person, or someone with a disability, it would be nice to extend the hose route, as many, like mine, have the tank and drain between the axles.

My old Komfort had a 1.25" drain with a blade valve, just like the main valve. Drained =fast=! :B

i discarded the cap, and put a PVC valve on it. Still have to crawl under, but just a 90-degree turn to drain.

My drain is within reach from the side of the rig and is a quarter turn valve which I can turn using a pliers.
Crawling under is a pain but one would only have to do it once per year to winterize (in our part of the world).

Same.

Not a Keystone but our two fresh tanks both have blade valves on them. Would think they could be screwed on or glued on to whatever you've got.
