From and 05 F350 to a 16

I had an 03 Duramax and when I went to my '11 F350 the difference was incredible. I think the 03 Duramax was probably comparable to your 05 F350. The difference between my '11 F350 and '16 F350 was not that big ..... much better exhaust brake was about the only thing. What trim level is your new truck?

Super Duty Lariat. I don't remember seeing an exhaust brake on mine.

look to the right of the steering wheel just above your knee near the 4wd switch. It works great. Love my 2016 F350

One big difference will be the 6R140 transmission. It seems to be a very robust unit and capable of more torque than the 5R110.

Be prepared to be impressed... I've come from a '05 to a '12.

I went from a 2007 F350 6,0 to a 2012 F350 6.7. The 2007 pulled pretty darn good. The 2012 pulls great. And I think the 2016 has even more power.

Why not jump up to a 17?

I went from an 09 350DRW 6.4 3:73 to a 17 6.7 4:10 DRW there is so much more power with the 6.7 you won't know that 5er is behind you. The tow haul feature and 6 speed trans will make your driving experience a pleasure.

I thought my '03 F250 6.Uh-Oh pulled good with both the FICM juiced some and Banks Monster exhaust until I got a '15 350 6.7. OP---you'll love the upgrade!!!!!

According to your other thread, you already bought the truck. So how about you tell us what difference you see between the 2. Otherwise, I don't understand the point of this thread.
