How Many Worry When Watching Slide-Outs??
Is it just me?? I just expect the things to break every time I push the switches. And it's not just this RV (2016 Keystone Hideout). My old Salem scared me as well.... although it seemed a bit more smooth.
The whole slide just flexes and moves in what looks like scary directions. It seems like the top moves at a different rate than the bottom at the beginning and end of the range of motion. The slide floor lifts a couple inches when closing completely, and settles into place a couple inches when extending completely (both in my 5th operate the exact same).
Maybe I just worry too much... I have a warranty. I'm just afraid of trying to drive home with the slides extended :)
