IF, IF, if... 5th wheel dreaming

does a 5th wheel have a Master bedroom on the lower level?
and is the master bathroom on the same level?

I/we have no children/grand children/great grandchildren,
no relatives living.
and all of our good friends are dead.

so no extra type of beds needed....

does a thing like this exist??????

for size... 30 to 35 feet.. kitchen must also be on the lower level.
2 axle.. and between 10,000 and 13,000 pounds..

I think I would need a F 350 Diesel..
if diesel I would Want DRW. (dually) never owned either.

and how difficult is it to get a Diesel WITHOUT 4 wheel drive and without the $5,000 upgrade interior....

Yes I stopped at a Ford dealer yesterday... 3 dually on the lot (NEW)
all 4x4, all top end trim package and all had diesel automatics....


the 2 things (4x4 and trim) must be over 10,000 dollars alone...

and is it common for the Diesel to run 3;73 limited slip instead of E-Locker.

Like I said just DREAMING....

I know people with a Georgetown 2015..with the F53 V10 Ford drive line. forget that .

    HAHA!! Yeah that's why I have ours, my wife walked into it!!

    BTW, our 35 foot 5er FLR tows shorter than our 32 foot bumper pull. The difference is what is over the bed not hanging off the back bumper

    I know ducted heat and AC is a Must... our first trailer did not have ducted... and was One of 2 reasons for selling it... other was head clearance.... I am 6"2. wife is 5'3...

    and yes 2 weeks is nothing when 4 months is Winter

    I can only comment on our FLR.

    In our unit the issues your seeing are totally unfounded. THe floor to ceiling height is fine. Yeah it isn't 8 or 9 feet but it is comfortable, Kind of a man cave feeling. We have 2 AC units in ours with both feeding into the race track ducting. One in the kitchen and one in the rear bedroom. NO EXCESS NOISE AT ALL and the moveable vents create a nice airflow for sitting in there watching the boob tube. Our unit is also a mid profile so a little less space than a full

    I have a totally different thought about front living room in a fifth wheel
    The floor to ceiling is approximately 6 1/2 feet. When you are siting in chair your head is approximately 4 1/2 feet from the floor leaving only two feet from your head to the ceiling. I can't imagine watching TV with an air conditioner blowing on me from 2 feet above my head or trying to listen to a TV show. If your bed room is on the top at least when sleeping you are 4 feet from the ceiling and AC.

    WOW, I had no idea the number of these are out there...

    some are very Lovely ..

    the 30 to 35 is a guess on my part...

    I know when I was looking for a used truck last year.... F 250 2 wheel drive... very little available... ended up with a nice Fleet/Lease.... XL. power windows and locks..

    We are shopping for a new 5er. We looked at Solitude front living this weekend. They are really nice.

    Sure, look for front living room floor plans.

    for size... 30 to 35 feet.. kitchen must also be on the lower level.

    IMO, dually is not needed; SRW would be fine.

    4WD is really nice to have, but I understand not wanting to spend the $$ on it. If you're looking for a new truck, you may simply have to order one.

    Finding a base trim will be easier than finding 2wd. Finding both will be tougher.
    Sounds like a TT may be a better option.

    ALMOST ANY of the Front Living (FL) models will be at 37-38 ,model number ,with an actual length of 39' + . . I would think they are out there , you just need to find them...

2 axle.. and between 10,000 and 13,000 pounds..

I think I would need a F 350 Diesel..
if diesel I would Want DRW. (dually) never owned either.

and how difficult is it to get a Diesel WITHOUT 4 wheel drive and without the $5,000 upgrade interior....

Yes I stopped at a Ford dealer yesterday... 3 dually on the lot (NEW)
all 4x4, all top end trim package and all had diesel automatics....


the 2 things (4x4 and trim) must be over 10,000 dollars alone...

and is it common for the Diesel to run 3;73 limited slip instead of E-Locker.

BTW, our 35 foot 5er FLR tows shorter than our 32 foot bumper pull. The difference is what is over the bed not hanging off the back bumper

In our unit the issues your seeing are totally unfounded. THe floor to ceiling height is fine. Yeah it isn't 8 or 9 feet but it is comfortable, Kind of a man cave feeling. We have 2 AC units in ours with both feeding into the race track ducting. One in the kitchen and one in the rear bedroom. NO EXCESS NOISE AT ALL and the moveable vents create a nice airflow for sitting in there watching the boob tube. Our unit is also a mid profile so a little less space than a full

I have a totally different thought about front living room in a fifth wheel
The floor to ceiling is approximately 6 1/2 feet. When you are siting in chair your head is approximately 4 1/2 feet from the floor leaving only two feet from your head to the ceiling. I can't imagine watching TV with an air conditioner blowing on me from 2 feet above my head or trying to listen to a TV show. If your bed room is on the top at least when sleeping you are 4 feet from the ceiling and AC.
In our Montana and our Mobile Suite with rear living room the AC is 8 or 9 feet from the floor and 5 or 6 feet above ones head. With the ceiling fan in reverse it is very comfortable never sitting in a draft and the noise doesn't interfere with trying to listen to entertainment.

I think I would need a F 350 Diesel..
if diesel I would Want DRW. (dually) never owned either.

IMO, dually is not needed; SRW would be fine.

and how difficult is it to get a Diesel WITHOUT 4 wheel drive and without the $5,000 upgrade interior....

Yes I stopped at a Ford dealer yesterday... 3 dually on the lot (NEW)
all 4x4, all top end trim package and all had diesel automatics....

4WD is really nice to have, but I understand not wanting to spend the $$ on it. If you're looking for a new truck, you may simply have to order one.

the 2 things (4x4 and trim) must be over 10,000 dollars alone...

and is it common for the Diesel to run 3;73 limited slip instead of E-Locker.
