does a 5th wheel have a Master bedroom on the lower level?and is the master bathroom on the same level?I/we have no children/grand children/great grandchildren,no relatives living.and all of our good friends are dead.so no extra type of beds needed....does a thing like this exist?????? for size... 30 to 35 feet.. kitchen must also be on the lower level.2 axle.. and between 10,000 and 13,000 pounds..I think I would need a F 350 Diesel.. if diesel I would Want DRW. Cedar Creek makes a 38ft 5th that has the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen on the lower level in the rear. The living room is in the front over the hitch 2 steps up. Model nbr 38fl.

As for getting a truck without all the bells and whistles go to a dealer that has commercial type trucks in stock.

Our trailer is a front living and it is AWESOME!!! Bed bath and kitchen on lower level. Open range also make a slightly larger one with the front livingThe LightMesa RidgeRoamer Chris

There are several brands now that make a front living plan where the bedroom and bathroom are at the rear on the lower level, along with the kitchen/dining. The living area is in the elevated front. But I don't know that any of the front living plans are 35' or under.

'Don' know anything about 5th wheels.As for the truck, order a new truck built with what you want or don't want, within the manufactures ordering guidelines of course. We never purchase a new vehicle off the lot. :@

I have a 30 foot bumper pull... small shower that the wife HATES.

I can not let my wife see any yet in person.. some she would kill to have. just outstanding!!!!!

HAHA!! Yeah that's why I have ours, my wife walked into it!!

BTW, our 35 foot 5er FLR tows shorter than our 32 foot bumper pull. The difference is what is over the bed not hanging off the back bumper

I know ducted heat and AC is a Must... our first trailer did not have ducted... and was One of 2 reasons for selling it... other was head clearance.... I am 6"2. wife is 5'3...

and yes 2 weeks is nothing when 4 months is Winter

I think you people have let me see 7 units... I figured 2 tops.

Front Living is interesting looking when you walk in and Trailer builders will build anything for that extra sale however if you spend three months every winter or full time I personally think you would get sick of that in a hurry.

I can only comment on our FLR.

In our unit the issues your seeing are totally unfounded. THe floor to ceiling height is fine. Yeah it isn't 8 or 9 feet but it is comfortable, Kind of a man cave feeling. We have 2 AC units in ours with both feeding into the race track ducting. One in the kitchen and one in the rear bedroom. NO EXCESS NOISE AT ALL and the moveable vents create a nice airflow for sitting in there watching the boob tube. Our unit is also a mid profile so a little less space than a full

I have a totally different thought about front living room in a fifth wheel
The floor to ceiling is approximately 6 1/2 feet. When you are siting in chair your head is approximately 4 1/2 feet from the floor leaving only two feet from your head to the ceiling. I can't imagine watching TV with an air conditioner blowing on me from 2 feet above my head or trying to listen to a TV show. If your bed room is on the top at least when sleeping you are 4 feet from the ceiling and AC.

WOW, I had no idea the number of these are out there...

some are very Lovely ..

the 30 to 35 is a guess on my part...

I know when I was looking for a used truck last year.... F 250 2 wheel drive... very little available... ended up with a nice Fleet/Lease.... XL. power windows and locks..

Sure, look for front living room floor plans.

Finding a base trim will be easier than finding 2wd. Finding both will be tougher.
Sounds like a TT may be a better option.

ALMOST ANY of the Front Living (FL) models will be at 37-38 ,model number ,with an actual length of 39' + . . I would think they are out there , you just need to find them...
