In the preliminary stages of shopping

My husband and I are in the process of selling our home and moving into the 2008 KZ Escalade that we purchased used. We are looking to live fulltime in our 5th wheel for the next 4-5 years. We bought a used unit that had been taken well care of. Not to say that we haven't put some money into it adding things we wanted and replacing some things like awnings. But all in, we have a unit that we feel is going to hold up very well for us and with the 2008 Ford King Ranch Dually we purchased, we're in at under $70,000. Not to say we won't have some issues, but the first owners have taken care of any of the warranty issues and even if we have to replace any major items, like HVAC unit, water heater etc., we're well under what we would have paid for a new RV. Might be worth considering.
