Insurance for full-time RVers

Why didn't you put this in the Full timing forum?

National Interstate Insurance. Specialize in full timers insurance. Insure your tow vehicle or toad also. Very happy with them.

Correct. I should have said full time policies are a specialty, but they do offer other types. We also have coverage for items in a storage unit.

Here's a couple of the above answers, combined... Doughtery & Assoc in SD led us to BlueSky Insurance for both the coach and car.

We have General Insurance (Good Sam) they have policies for the full time RVers. They have extra coverage of valuables since you are full timing and have been very helpful in making sure you have adequate insurance to cover what you need. In our case since we tow our toad the right coverage in case of damage while being towed.

Part two of your question..Gilbert Insurance brokers for National Interstate. We found NI to be the best insurance for full timing..at least for us. They include CoachNet with their insurance. I carry $1000/ded/collision and $100/ded/comp. Give them a shot....Dennis

Totally inaccurate regarding inspection. If you are not in the state, you do not need inspection, as "O" would say, period. When you do return, you have three days to get inspected anywhere in state.

We use Progressive insurance. We had Erie before we stared full time but they would not cover us as full time living in a RV. The post above tell you about vehicle registration.
