- Michelle_SExplorer IIIMy understanding about the Ventless is that you have to remove the clothes while still damp and hang them up or lay on the bed. Friends had one and she tried to actually dry the clothes, they came out so wrinkled that she couldn't iron the wrinkles out.

The moisture condenses on the heat exchanger and is sent to the gray tank along with water used to cool the heat exchanger. It does not get very hot and does take longer to dry. Get a vented unit.
