Yep, under the U-bolt, to change a tire. Under the frame for suspension work along with under the U-bolt.

If changing a tire, pull the flat up on ramp until center of axle is at least normal height, then jack axle up from there. Pull the ramp out after you get flat off, and you know you have room to get tire back on.

Pull up on a ramp jack. Do necessary work .

Ramp! Safer and faster. Build it yourself. If you don’t care for it, firewood! lol

Between the U bolts. Raise the wheel just barely off the ground.

Any of the 3 work fine. For me, just depends where I'm at, how quick it needs to done, how sturdy do I want it. If you really want to lift your FW, then lifting by using frame likely best choice.

Pulling up on my trailer-aid plus, is quickest to change a tire.

Simple and safe method to do any repair. I have used on my 19 and 24k Mobile Suites 5er's.

For just changing a flat tire on my rv trailers and other non rv trailers I use my old 12T Truckers Special shorty hyd jack under the axle next to the you bolt. The jack came with a axle tube cradle adapter. Just a few strokes and the tire is off the ground enough to remove the flat and install the spare. Its jacked fully loaded and empty trailers with 1750 lb axles up to 12k axles.
The jack is old and is on its 3rd repack since the '70s era.

Now if your asking about jacking the trailer with all the wheels off the ground then I use a couple of floor jacks and lots of cribbing under the trailer frame rails front to back.

But, but, but... That will overstress the one tire by putting too much load on it, same as driving over a curb at low speed!
