Lance now has a 26' toyhauler - 2612TH

I had a 21SW Desert Fox and finally said "this thing is too big for me" and downsized to a truck camper - but, it's onl "me" and no one else in it, except maybe a a friend went along a few times.

But, I do see the need for another toy hauler again, not to haul toys, but the garage would be a mini office & product storage area.

Lance builds a top notch camper, so I'm sure there THs are nice too.

Good looking unit but seems pricey for what it is. Slide would be nice too

Also looking forward to any reviews. I saw one at the Hershey RV show. It's a sharp looking rig. Wished I had explored it better but was trying to cover a lot of ground that day.

looks like a good trailer, 26 ft is a decent size for a bumper pull. at 32 total feet that is a big pull trailer. this is the size we have and if i went any bigger i would go with a 5th. a good thing about it is the gross weight is under 10k, that is a plus if you live in CA you dont need a class A DL. would like to see one just for the fun of it. our trailer is only a year old so not looking for a different one.

Hello, if you do wind up buying one, can you chronicle your experience for us?
I know I would enjoy getting an honest perspective from a new buyer as I am really considering one of these also.
Or not.... just an idea if you're interested, I know I would be :-)

Floor plan very similar to my Jayco Octane, which I love. It tree feet shorter somewhere though. I won't mention my Jayco cost me about half of the MSRP for the Lance...:-)

We are new Rv'ers and are seriously looking to buy the Lance 2612. Has anyone purchased one and if so, did you get it with a straight axle or drop axle? We are concerned w/ how low this sits and being limited going off-road.

Wish there was one in stock close enough to go look at. I'm thinking that given the market, someone would lower the price somewhat.

I'm also interested in a 5'er version.

It is interesting to see many people complaining about the price of these. Look at the Voltage and Momentum haulers. They are north of $100k. You walk by those and also laugh because you would never pay that price either. Doesn't everyone on here say to take 30% off the MSRP? So that means the Lance would sell closer to $35k. Does the $35-40k range make it seem more reasonable? Or is Lance like Carmax, and the price you see is the price you pay? My local dealer has a new Voltage for $118k. Is it $58k better than the Lance? I doubt it. The dealer also knows its not, so they already are taking $38k off the and are advertising that they will still do better on price.

They premiered the 22 and 26 footer at the Sand Super Show in Orange County Fair Grounds last September. Pretty impressive. I talked to the salesmen about them and they ask if I owned a toy hauler and they ask me to comment on the ones they had. I told them I liked the LED lighting, framless windows, aluminum frame and solid sides, electric canopys, exterior electrical outlet and L/P connection, heated tanks, walk on roof, the TV set set ups, solar power,keyless entry, and list went on. I told them the things they should option were to have the fuel station set up on the drivers side so you would be able to pull up and get fuel without breaking into your camp set up on the passanger side. A lot of people wagon train camp. Don't think either of them actually camped before. Also I told them to maybe have an option to increase the size of the gray tank and lesson the black tank. The grey tanks fill up fast do to showers. Especially when your camping with girls. They could relate to that. LOL. They ask me what I didn't like and I said the price. I told them if your going to premier a new toy hauler the price they were asking could be a deal breaker for a lot of people. I told them everyone knows the Lance name and reputation and would expect a higher quality trailer and a higher price but what they were asking seemed really high. They do have a lot of bells and whistles and I told them to start optioning those to maybe bring down the cost. Pretty sure they would sell a boat load of them if they bring down the price. I also told them to confirm the weights off the production line as to what they actually are and what they will actually hold for toys. I told them there were some huge issue's with some haulers in the past for that. I asked if they had 5th wheel on the horizon and they told me there was but pending how the market is and how these start to sell.

Really nice trailers especially with all the bells and whistles but really pricey. Hope they can get them down in cost so we can see some on the road.
