Legs up/ Legs down?

I leave everything hooked up and no legs down, doesn't bother us a bit if it moves a little, shore power hooked up, no problem, just put the slides out and go.

On our TV, the electrical stays charged when the engine in off---So, I disconnect the plug to keep the TV battery up. I also, drape a glove over the steering wheel when I do this to remind me. Once in a while, I do drop the front legs to stabilize the rig, but usually just level it with a couple wooden blocks if we're just overnighting it. The glove on the steering wheel jogs my memory that something needs to be checked before leaving.
It has worked so far.

Not that familiar with GM trucks, my power cable isn't live when the ignition is off. If yours is the same you can just leave it connected.

I chuckle at this, once I had a host site that lost one leg of the 50 amp feed, the leg my converter is on, used a bunch of lights and furnace a bit. Well 2:00 am the 5er battery was drained enough that the Propane alarm went off. Once I realized what the issue was my solution was to plug the 5er power into the truck!! Two big batteries to start the diesel not an issue for parasitic and a few lights in the morning.

Sure, when heading south for the winter we don't unhook for six days. I put the jacks down to stabilize (not level) the trailer but there is no need to. If you do, just do it before you put the slides out.

If the spot is a pronounced up or downhill, you might have to disconnect.

X2...and to add to that, unless your out of level in an extreme manor or you plan to run out all slides then I would at least run legs down but with no slides out or in an extreme off angle, which I wouldn't think a person would stop in a spot like that anyway, leave legs up and don't worry about frig!!!!! I feel the OPs post was to try and keep stop over as easy and simple as possible which did not include unhooking or disconnecting anything.

I usually just go ahead and disconnect, and level. I used the opportunity while disconnected to go refuel without the trailer in tow.

Doesn't matter to me for one night.

Depends. Depends on how level the Walmart carpark is. If available I'll look for a slight downhill so that lifting the weight off the truck, to reduce the shake a little, brings the trailer sort of level.
