Mine were the faulty type and covered by the recall. However I already replaced it with a different brand lock (fit in the exact same spot) that seems a LOT more robust. I replaced cuz my truck was broken into and a set of keys was taken.
Anyhow I had the old lockset and contacted them about the recall and never heard a thing.
My advice. Replace it with a different brand. Much better.
