Low-profile A/C Opinions

Looking to add a 2nd A/C to my KZ. 50amp rig and pre-wired for the 2nd unit.

I'm wanting to add a low-profile, non-ducted unit over the bedroom. The main's a 15k unit and I was told that I should go for the 13.5k over a smaller one, as they're, usually, not much more expensive, and it's better to have =more= cooling, than less.

Looking for opinions and real-world experience with different brands and models.

Thanks in advance.

Truma has some new low profile, German engineered, unit that they've just come out with. The marketing info looks interesting and they can be retrofitted in a non-ducted setup. Plus they have dealers in the US who can do the installation or replacement.

I haven't any experience with their A/C units, but I've been really impressed with my tankless Truma water heater and Truma's service. They also have a tankless water heater/furnace Combi that looks interesting which some RV manufacturers are now using in a few of their models.

Another question. In looking around, it seems that the A/C units are sold without the air handler (and controller for ductless). Is this the case for all units?

Why go non ducted? When we're in the living area, we run the bedroom A/C (13.5k ducted) with the door closed. Way quieter. If we need it when sleeping, we run the other one (15k). We normally only run both for initial cool down. Ours are both Dometic Brisk II and the bedroom unit has the thermostat in hallway.

One reason only; there's no ducts to the front.
