Yea, I measured mine three time before we bought it. I have 8" to spare inside the barn. I was talking to my neighbor a couple doors down after he put a deposit down on a new fifth wheel and I half jokingly said "Make sure to physically measure your unit and not go by the literature" A few days later he flagged me down as I was driving by and thanked me for telling him that as it would not have fit in the barn. He was not happy with the dealer for quoting him what was in the book but was happy he did not sign papers on it and then find out when he brought it home. They ended up with another unit altogether. You need to take a tape measure to it.
